ETES spirit night with the Charlotte Hornets on March 18th at 7:00 p.m

We have an ETES spirit night with the Charlotte Hornets on March 18th at 7:00 p.m.

The Hornets will take on the Washington Wizards!

Tickets are $19 a person look for more info to come home with your child!

Invest in Your Child Fundraiser

2016 Invest in Your Child Fundraiser!  
Elizabeth Traditional is a Magnet School of Excellence thanks to a committed community of teachers, staff and parents!

Our Invest in Your Child (IYC) fundraiser kicks off October 1! This year, funds will support literacy curriculum, our math lab, the music program, new books for the media center and more! Prizes for participation levels include a raffle for a pass to Great Wolf Lodge! Please see details in the IYC brochure.

IYC is a direct-give campaign. Not only does the donation go directly to the benefit of our children, it is tax-deductible to you. ETES PTA is a charitable non-profit.

We need everyone’s help to be successful. Every gift makes a difference.Every gift counts.

Please look for, complete and return the IYC brochures and select one of the packages:

Package #1: I have 1 student at ETES- $125 donation. Package includes 1 yearbook and 1 T-shirt. Circle 1 size: Youth S M L XL Adult S M L

Elizabeth Traditional Recognized as a Magnet School of Excellence

The Magnet Schools of America released the 2015-2016 Merit Award Winners.  The Merit Awards program recognized the top magnet schools in the US that show a commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation/diversity efforts, specialized teaching staff and parent/community involvement.
The top category given to a group of select magnet schools is the Magnet School of Excellence Award; the second category is the Magnet School of Distinction Award.  Seven (7) of our magnet schools received the Excellence Award and eleven (11) received the Distinction Award.  ETES was one of the seven!

New Traffic Pattern – Get Ready!

Elizabeth Traditional Traffic Pattern Changes for 2016-2017

The CityLYNX streetcar project will cause partial street closures on Hawthorne Lane and Park Drive. This will impact our drop off and pick up routing.

Bus – School Auditorium
Buses enter from Travis Avenue then and turn left onto Park Drive in front of the school auditorium to drop off or load.

Car – Fifth Street Loop via Park Drive
Drivers enter and exit from Fifth Street ONLY. Turn right onto Park Drive then turn left to enter the parking lot. Exit by turning right onto Park Drive (a loop). Cars may turn left or right onto Fifth Street or go straight to Elizabeth Avenue.
